Agent tools give read-only access to public EPD metadata. Endpoints accept search requests and return indexed metadata. They cannot submit enquiries, edit records or publish declarations. For verification or publication under EPD Polska, send a separate enquiry. Search and API access are free.

Results are metadata only; the full EPD and its terms of use stay with the source operator. The same EPD may appear in several sources or as earlier versions. Validity is shown as a year, not an exact expiry date. Our own dataset holds only a subset of published EPDs.

Connect a read-only MCP client

MCP (Model Context Protocol) provides two tools: search_epds and list_epd_sources. Both read the same public metadata service used by the search page. Add this Streamable HTTP endpoint to a compatible client:

Free anonymous access, no API key. Protocol versions: 2025-06-18 and 2025-11-25. No persistent sessions or event stream. Browser clients must use the site origin; server clients may omit Origin.

Search and paginate

Read total and advance offset by the number of returned items. Use exact operator and category values from facets. The configured valid=1 filter means validity year 2026 or later; confirm exact expiry and document status at source.

Source provenance and permissions

External documents remain at their original source. Full external datasets are not republished by this API. Source terms govern reuse, and source presence does not imply a partnership. Only records with an ilcd array link to own hosted datasets.

Do not send confidential product files or personal data to search tools. Manufacturer enquiries use the separate contact form; the agent tools cannot send enquiries, edit records or publish declarations.
