# EPD Portal for AI agents and developers

> Agent tools give read-only access to public EPD metadata. Endpoints accept search requests and return indexed metadata. They cannot submit enquiries, edit records or publish declarations. For verification or publication under EPD Polska, send a separate enquiry. Search and API access are free.

Results are metadata only; the full EPD and its terms of use stay with the source operator. The same EPD may appear in several sources or as earlier versions. Validity is shown as a year, not an exact expiry date. Our own dataset holds only a subset of published EPDs.

Search and the API are free and anonymous. Source permissions remain separate. Follow source URLs to read external documents; only records with an `ilcd` array offer own hosted datasets. Pagination uses `limit`, `offset`, `total` and `items`. The configured `valid=1` filter means validity year 2026 or later, not exact day-level validity. `valid=0` includes historical records.

MCP supports protocol versions 2025-06-18 and 2025-11-25. POST accepts application/json with Accept: application/json, text/event-stream. There is no event stream, persistent session, publishing tool or enquiry tool. Clients with no Origin header can connect; browser clients must use this site's origin. Do not send confidential product files or personal data to search tools.
