EPD Portal brings together indexes of public EPD registers and databases run by different programme operators and institutions. Search them in one place, filter by source, country or region and product category, and open each declaration in its source register. Results come from a local index built from public data nodes; the search does not query each source live.
This register lists declarations published under our own EPD Polska programme, with their product documents. In the global index, EPD Polska is labelled EPD Poland.
Browse the EPD Polska register →The search below is a separate international index of records drawn from many source registers. Counts show index records, not EPD Polska declarations or unique EPDs.
The index draws on public data nodes of EPD programme operators and environmental databases, together with the EPD Poland register. Counts show index records, including historical entries. The same product or declaration can appear in more than one register, and one declaration can have several variant records, so the counts are not numbers of unique declarations. Select a source to filter the search.
These are sources represented in the index. Listing a source identifies data provenance; it does not indicate a partnership or a live connection status.

The application programming interface (API) gives software the same search as this page. Requests are anonymous GET calls without authentication, and responses use JSON, a data format for programs. Opening an API link in a browser shows raw JSON, not a formatted page.
https://data.epdportal.org/api/search?limit=50
/api/search returns record metadata: operator, name, country or region, reference year, validity, registration number, category, manufacturer and a source_url pointing to the source register. /api/facets returns the lists and counts of sources, countries and regions, and categories. Full datasets from external sources stay at the source; the API does not copy them. EPD Poland records also list their own ILCD+EPD datasets, the machine-readable format for EPD data. A record uuid is not unique across sources: identify a record by operator and uuid, or by source_url.

EPD Poland records with digital data include links to the published ILCD+EPD datasets. One declaration can have separate datasets for its product variants.
Full EPD Poland datasets are served by our data node. XML is the structured ILCD+EPD file format; the node also provides JSON for programs. Use the dataset UUID and version when identifying a specific release.

| Parameter | Meaning |
|---|---|
q | Words in the product name, manufacturer or registration number. Up to six words are used. |
op | Exact source name from /api/facets, for example EPD Poland. URL-encode the value. |
geo | Exact country or region code from /api/facets, for example NO, PL or EU. |
kat | Exact product category from /api/facets, for example Concrete & cement. |
valid | 1 (default) selects validity years of 2026 or later; 0 includes historical records. This filter checks the year only, not the exact expiry date. |
std | 2 filters records whose compliance text contains 15804+A2. Omit for no standard filter. |
sub | Exact dataset subtype from /api/facets. |
sort | recent sorts all sources by reference year descending, then name (the search page uses this order). name sorts by name; old sorts by reference year ascending. If omitted, the API places EPD Poland first, then sorts by reference year descending and name. |
limit / offset | Page size (use 1–200, default 50) and zero-based offset (default 0). Advance the offset by the number of returned items until reaching total. |
An empty-result response is shown below. Matching records are returned in the items array.

The index includes records that sources publish under free-of-charge licence types, some of which are limited to certain users, uses or members. Inclusion in the index does not grant any right to reuse the full data. The licence and terms of use of each source register prevail; check them before using data from that source.
The search uses a local index, not live queries to every source. Confirm the current document, validity and use conditions in the source register. Counts include historical entries and may include duplicates across sources.
